A 143 bedroom hotel and adjoining block of 8 apartments. We carried out all mechanical & electrical services, including plumbing & power to the hotel bathroom pods, a hybrid air conditioning system, MVHR ventilation, feature lighting to the front of house areas with smart control systems, and gas combi boilers to the apartments.

A 407 bed student accommodation on the site of the former Maxi’s restaurant. We carried out all mechanical & electrical services, including plumbing & electrical supplies to bathroom pods, electric heating, CHP hot water plant, MVHR ventilation, smoke ventilation, dry risers, sprinklers, power, lighting, fire alarm & security.

Becketwell BTR, Derby
A single block of 259 build to rent apartments, which forms part of the first phase of the Becketwell Derby city centre regeneration project. We carried out all mechanical & electrical services, including electric heating, MVHR ventilation, the BNO power distribution works, fire alarm & security. The works also included a push-pull smoke ventilation system using a combination of mechanical extract & natural smoke shafts.

We carried out the replacement of the existing heating pipework & 4-pipe fan coil unit controls to the 8 floor office building. Works were carried out whilst the building was occupied, which required careful coordination & consideration for the tenants.

A single block of 229 apartments on the site of the former Queens Hotel. We carried out all mechanical & electrical services, including the installation of a 700kW biomass boiler plant & a heat interface unit to each apartment. The works also included a residential sprinkler system to the apartments, and a commercial sprinkler system providing coverage to the car park.

McDonalds Restaurants
Our Small Projects Team has a strong working relationship with McDonalds Restaurants and is currently involved in their new EOTF refurbishment scheme, which is scheduled to continue for the next three years. We also carry out work on their new build sites installing drainage, hot and cold piped services, gas pipework and sanitary ware. We have carried out a large number of installations for them, with the most notable being the largest restaurant they have ever built on the Olympic Park for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
